Get Organized: Remember the Milk

Remember the Milk is more than just a website with a cute name. It's a great way to get your life together and get organized using task management -- online or offline! And did I mention that it's *free*?!

Here are just some of the ways you can manage tasks by using Remember the Milk:

(1) Create, modify, and control your To Do list.

(2) Get reminders via email, SMS, and several different instant messenger programs.

(3) Map out your tasks. You can see what's nearby or on your way and plan the most efficient route to run errands.

(4) Share lists with family, friends and contacts + send out friendly reminders.

(5) Add tasks anytime, anywhere.

There are a few extra features if you want to upgrade to a Pro Account for $25 each year...

I personally like the fact that Remember the Milk is not generic; it allows individuals to cater to their likes and dislikes. For example, you can set deadlines in the way that works best for you -- either by a date (ex. due next Wednesday) or by time line (ex. due in 4 weeks). Or you can organize your stuff in your own style -- making task lists, using task clouds, or storing notes on tasks.

Using a system that works best for you, you're more likely to stick to a task management routine and successfully get organized and stay organized.

I have seen this before. It's such a smart idea for those techy driven people. I do think it fits a niche thought. Thanks for sharing!
